Perfect shape and firmness, well made.
The depression in mid pillow provides the correct amount of elevation. The downward slant of the upper pillow provides the correct angle for relieving the discomfort that some of us experience due to head elevation from a fluffy pillows—and yet your head and neck juncture feels well supported. I use this pillow at home. I am buying another to take on trips. It is well made with a removable cover. I highly recommend.

LIFE CHANGER!!
I’ve had chronic neck pain and headaches that have gotten progressively worse for at least 2 years. I’ve seen my doctor, tried anti inflammatories, muscle relaxants, physical therapy and other pillows with not much success. Then I found this pillow. The reviews that say it is rock hard, I disagree with that. It is firm, but that is what my neck needed. The curve is perfect because it stays in constant contact with my neck throughout the night giving it full support either sleeping on my back or side. After my first night my neck wasn’t stiff and I could look up and extend my neck without pain for the first time in a year. I’m off all those useless meds and I am kicking myself because I didn’t realize sooner that my pillow was the bulk of my neck pain and headaches. If you have a stiff neck and shoulders I’d give this pillow a chance!
